Volunteer with Caring Christmas Trees
Helping with Caring Christmas Trees supports our work to end homelessness in Scotland, one person at a time. Every year, Caring Christmas Trees could not run without the support of volunteers so we are delighted that you are interested in volunteering!
Our volunteers ensure that the collection sites run smoothly and people receive their Christmas trees with an easy, fun and safe experience.
What is involved?
Our Caring Christmas Tree volunteers help at our outdoor collection sites in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife and East Lothian.
You'll be greeting people, checking orders, assisting customers selecting their tree and generally helping things run smoothly. You can volunteer for a just morning or afternoon slot, or as many times as you would like!
Tree Sitters Needed
As well as helping with orders, we also need some early bird volunteers to sit with our trees when they delivered first thing in the morning until the rest of the team arrive.
If you would enjoy the peace and quiet of an early morning with a flask of coffee at your side, we'd love to hear from you!
As well as individual volunteers, we also welcome groups of volunteers! Gather your sports club, colleagues, friends and neighbours to volunteer as a team.
It's a great way to have some festive fun together and give back to the local community.
